How does Precision Casting Work?

Making the Patterns
The expendable patterns have an identical geometric shape to the finished part. It is made by injecting wax into a metal injection die. Considering that severe temperature levels are associated with lost wax casting, thermal contraction is typically considered in the making of the pattern.
Making the Sprue
Making a tree is the step to assembling the patterns. The pattern, and other wax parts, are created on the tree called a sprue.
Creating a Mold Shell

Eliminating the Wax
